The undersigned Client hereby requests the consulting services of JULIAN CONSUMER COUNSELING SERVICES, INC., hereinafter called "Julian Services", to represent Client in the negotiation of certain debts on behalf of Client. Client will pay Julian Services a one-time fee of $ 50.00 (Fifty US Dollars) for such services.
I/We authorize Julian Services to act on my/our behalf and take any action it considers necessary and proper to protect client(s) interested in connection with the negotiation of my/our debts. However, it is understood that there are no warranties regarding a successful outcome or the length of time required to complete a debt repayment plan or conclude a matter and that any representations made by Julian Services or its staff are opinions only. Client is employing Julian Services for its credit counseling services. Julian Services will use its best efforts although no specific result is guaranteed. Client understands that assistance rendered by Julian Services include credit counseling, negotiations, collection and disbursement of monies. All fees paid are considered earned by Julian Services upon payment by client and are nonrefundable. Julian Services does not provide specific legal advice as such advice may be rendered only by an Attorney. A duplicate copy of this Agreement has the same legal force as the original copy.
Client understands that, if any payment is over thirty (30) days late, unless Julian Services agrees in writing to reschedule payment or amount, Client shall be in default of this Agreement and Julian Services may discontinue its representation. In the event that such services are discontinued, any sums held by Julian Services in trust shall be disbursed pursuant to this Agreement and the file will be closed without further action taken or other service rendered by Julian Services.
Client understands that Julian Services will negotiate with such creditors as are listed on the firm's Questionnaire and provided by Client. Julian Services shall use its best efforts to reduce the interest, principal, or monthly payment amount as appropriate under the circumstances to allow Client to restructure the debts. Client shall then be required to make monthly payments as provided herein to Julian Services. Julian Services shall hold such sums in trust and disburse them pursuant to this Agreement. Client agrees to continue making monthly payments to Julian Services until such time as the negotiated debts are satisfied. Julian Services shall provide periodic reports as to the amounts received and disbursed and the status of Client's plan progress.
